Privacy policy

ARTEMIS MEDIA S.L., the controller of Kingdoms of Aetheria, with tax ID B95907168 and registered address at C/Uribitarte 6, Edificio BBF, 48001 Bilbao (Bizkaia), Spain, provides this information on data processing in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

Data the game keeps in your browser

• Saved games and autosaves.
• Preferences: language, volume of each channel, 3D view, accessibility, rival speed.
• Achievements, completed scenarios, campaign progress and its hero, daily challenge records.
• Tips already shown.

This data never leaves your device. It is stored in the browser's local storage (localStorage), we have no access to it, and you can delete it at any time from your browser settings (doing so also deletes your saved games).

Analytics data (only if you accept)

If you give your consent in the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to learn how the game is played:

• IP address (not stored by Google Analytics)
• Browser type, device and screen size
• Approximate country or region
• Pages viewed and time of use
• Game events without personal data: game mode started, turn reached, victory or defeat, chapters completed, language and use of the 3D view

If you do not accept, no analytics cookies are set and the game works exactly the same.

What we do not collect

• Name, email or contact details (there is no sign-up and no accounts).
• Payment data: the game is free.
• The content of your games.
• Sensitive personal data.

Purpose

Analytics data is used only to understand how the game is played, detect errors and improve the game. We do not use it for personalised advertising, we do not sell it to third parties and we do not build profiles.

Legal basis

• Consent for analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and running (technical hosting logs).
• The game's local data does not leave your device, so we do not process it.

Providers

• Hosting and delivery: the site may be served through content delivery networks (such as Cloudflare), which process the IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks.
• Analytics: Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics). This may involve transfers to the USA covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
• Consent management: CookieYes, which stores your choice.

When you share a result on WhatsApp or through your device's share menu, the content is sent to the app you choose, under its own privacy terms.

Retention

Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Local data stays in your browser until you delete it.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to seo@costeporclic.com. You can also change your cookie choice at any time ("Cookie settings") and lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
